Joe is constantly trying to get him to do new tricks, or new ways to do old ones. Which is good, it gives him good mental exercises (Vern not Joe). Tonight Joe took his mouse toy and decided to put it on Vern's head and make him sit with it there. It's comical because when we do that trick you can tell Vern is just tolerating it! He hates it, he looks at you with eyes that say "I look so stupid, I can't believe your doing this to me!" Anyways here are some pictures of the attempt tonight. They turned out pretty good.
An Old Cherokee told his grandson, "My son there is a battle between two wolves inside us all. One is evil. It is anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies and ego. The other is good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness, empathy and truth." The boy thought about it, and asked, "Grandfather, which wolf wins?" The old man quietly replied, "The one you feed." - author unknown

The mouse is hilarious! Vern is a pretty patient dog - I don't think we could ever get Ernie to sit that still with a toy on his head.
Also, your flowers are beautiful. What a nice Valentine's suprise!
