Joe graduated on Saturday (the first and only person to graduate from Tech with his degree)! The ceremony took what seemed like forever. Turns out it was about 3 hrs long. Sitting on a hard seat for 3 hrs... you can imagine how that makes your bum feel. Mom and Dad Kirklin came up for a quick visit, but they had to leave Sunday to get back for work. So now it is Joe and I, sitting around wondering what to do with ourselves :) It is a good feeling!
In all actuality we don't really have much time to kick back and relax. Joe got the job at Sweetwater Sound in Fort Wayne, Indiana! And so that is where we are headed. He will be starting work the 4th of June, and basically the rest of this month is going to be filled with packing, finding a place to rent down there, moving, unpacking... stress!! Overall it's exciting to be moving. We are both ready for a change of pace. Joining the 'real' working world is going to be an adjustment from the student life we have been living the past 4-5yrs :) No more late nights and even later mornings :) Oh well we had to grow up sometime!
