Here are a few of the pictures we had done at Sears not to long ago... We got a few that we really like. We've done some touch ups on some of the one's posted here. I don't know if this whole 'go get your pictures taken' thing is stressful for anyone else, but geez for my family this is no fun! In fact I would be safe in saying we HATE it. Joe would love to buy the equipment and do it himself. We just can't afford it right now.To list a few of our frustrations-
- Takes entirely too long
- They try to sell you on everything, so frustrating. The first package they tried to get us to buy cost almost $500... need I remind you this is only for 6 month pictures? (we were a little late, and Mile's is actually 7 months, oops) I really hope people don't spend that on month-to-month pictures.
- Can't get out of there without spending at least $100
- They can't retouch anything (I didn't realize this before, but COME ON).
- Not worth it when we leave feeling very disgruntled and grumpy.
- Not real photographers, and no knowledge of details with some of the products. Clueless when questioned about the portrait CD, as far as the size of the files and what not. (That seriously frustrated Joe).

awwww....what adorable pictures...especially b/c he's such a cute lil man! i sooooo know what you are talking about when getting pictures done...its insane!

you forgot the part about how they don't offer their so called "special deals" if you don't pick your package that day- that's what really burned me.
they are just like the school pictures our parents ordered- you order 500 of them and only give 10 of them away. you know what i'm talking about- you go through the pictures in the junk drawer at your mom and dad's house and there are 50 wallet sized pictures of you from grades K-8th grade. so i guess it is something we will do forever!

I've never had pictures done at Sears, or anywhere like that...but, I would be equally as frustrated!

I especially like the ones with you and Joe...they are just beautiful!
