Been A Long Time

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted last. I can't even use the excuse that I have been busy, pretty much the opposite. I really haven't had anything to say, however, now it's time to update everyone. A couple big things have happened in the last month. First we bought a new car... traded in Joe's Saab. It was a sad day to give away his car, but it started having problems that we couldn't really invest in to get fixed. So we went car shopping and ended up buying a 2002 Volvo S60. Pretty nice car... which you can see in the picture to the right. The picture is pretty dark. We took it at night in the garage, and we are lazy and have yet to take any more! The interior is pretty nice, leather seats... and all kinds of little luxuries. It will hopefully last us a long time and be our 'family' car. We still have the Jeep and don't plan on parting with that. It's a good hauler and a perfect fit for our dog.
The second big thing that happened, more so for just me, but I took my Board Exam on the 26th of July... and walked out feeling pretty crappy... pretty sure I had failed them. I ended up getting a little over a hundred questions and the majority of them pertained to specific drugs, and almost all of them I didn't know what they were. It pretty much came down to saying a prayer after each question and hoping I chose wisely. Well.... I found out yesterday that miraculously I passed! I now have my RN license :) Crazy... I am in the process of interviewing for a couple jobs, so shortly I will begin working! Which is also exciting. I am so ready to get back into the hospital :) Well for now that is all the updates I have... I will try to be better about updating this :)
