Surprise

Surprise, surprise... well at least it was for us!! There are two lines on both those pregnancy tests. Joe and I are having a baby. The baby is 11 wks right now, and everything is looking good. I have been very lucky and haven't suffered too much from nausea (some) and in the next couple of weeks I will be into the second trimester and putting all that behind us, hopefully. Just last weekend we went home to let my side of the family know the news... I think we maybe surprised them a little bit :) This is just so crazy that this is really happening. Since I don't really have a belly sticking out or feel any movement, it's easy to doubt that it is real. Today I had my second doc app't and listened to the heart beat again which is so reassuring that this is real and the baby is there and doing okay.
As far as my friends go, I haven't said a word to any of them yet... we'll see how long it takes them to read the blog :) I suspect I will probably hear from them soon!
