Way Overdue...

Sorry it has been so long since I have updated!! Combination of not finding time to do it, and not feeling like I have anything to say. A couple of weeks ago we had a nasty virus hit our house, Miles was sick first with Mommy following shortly and Dad pulled up the rear. It was the first time Miles had ever been sick, and he got hit pretty hard. Constant fever, coughing, congestion (so bad). The boy wouldn't eat a thing, and barely was drinking anything. It was a rough week before we finally started to see some relief. All upper respiratory nastiness, but for Joe & I it made it's home in our chests for awhile (I had to use an inhaler, not a fan of those things. But it did help)... in fact we are still coughing here and there. Thanks to Grandma for coming down and taking care of us when Mommy was too sick to do it! And Uncle Nate too ( he makes a great chicken soup)! Thankfully no one took pictures of me feeling lousy, but we had to document for Miles... it being his first time and all... if you click on the photos and enlarge them you can see the stream from his nose. This was a constantly flowing... gross but not near as bad as what came out when the boy sneezed. Oh man, I have seen enough snot for a long long time.



New news is that Miles is walking!!! Very slowly but oh so cute... he just decided the other day to do it. For the rest of that day he was consistently standing up (even to eat) or walking to things. The next day not so much, cause crawling is way FASTER :) I haven't been able to get good video of it yet, but when I do I will try and post it!
